JP Walker is an American professional snowboarder. In 2000, he was named by Snowboarder magazine as one of the top ten riders in the world. Walker was born in Salt Lake City, UT, where he started snowboarding in the early 1990's and soon became an x-games competitor around 1998. He has been featured in many Mack Dawg Productions films for the last 2 decades. Some of the snowboard films JP Walker has been featured in include Technical Difficulties, Decade, Simple Pleasures, The Resistance, True Life, Shakedown, Chulksmack, That, Picture This, and most recently Double Decade. JP Walker is one of the world's most idolized snowboarders and he is considered one of the pioneers of freestyle snowboarding. JP's career is one of the longest and most successful due to his commitment to the sport and avoidance of the 'party scene'. He now rides for Stepchild snowboards, Nixon watches, Dakine gloves, Thirtytwo boots, Bear Mountain, Milo Board Shop, Oakley goggles, and the love of snowboarding.
