Traditional Native American Healing Techniques~ 4 1-hour sessions

Donated by Juanita Ramos Corum
Value~ $400

Juanita Ramos Corum spent her childhood years in California's San Joaguin Valley and in Las Vegas, Nevada. Throughout life, she has faced some of the most significant challenges life can bring at a young age. Not only did she survive, she has learned how to apply the wisdom of life's teachings and freely lives life and doesn't let life live her.

Influenced and mentored by Chief William WhiteEagle, she was later adopted into the Southern Cherokee Nation. As she grew in her teaching, she became mentored by elders and sages from eight Native nations, integrating the ancient wisdom teachings into daily life. Committed to providing a form of unique Native American energy work, she is also a sought after executive, life and spirit teacher, and workshop facilitator.

Juanita will use a variety of techniques, including laying-on hands, to help restore the body, mind, and spirit to wholeness and balance.

The circling palms method of treatment is identical to that used by indigenous people (her Cherokee mentor used to hold his hands in front and back of the patient's body, 'like two poles of a magnet, the negative and the positive.' Sometimes, he would circle one palm- clockwise to warm the body, counterclockwise to cool it.)

Sessions will include Native American Shamanic Healing and Cherokee Bodywork.
